Anti-Asian Violence Must Stop! A Statement from the Board of the Humpty Dumpty Institute
March 22, 2021
The Board of Directors of the Humpty Dumpty Institute has been shocked and dismayed, as are most Americans, with the rise in violence directed at Asians in the United States. Bigotry and violence against any group must be vigorously combated. HDI Board of Directors includes the respected Chinese-American religious leader Venerable Hsin Ting, and HDI’s Congressional Advisory Board includes three members of the Asian Pacific American Caucus. In addition, HDI has undertaken humanitarian assistance programs in Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam to help people and to foster dialogue between Americans and others. All Americans must stand behind the Asian community in the United States and forcefully condemn this violence.
