HDI Supports Beyoncé and the United Nations to
Draw Attention to Humanitarian Work
HDI is enthusiastically supporting international star Beyoncé, the United Nations and humanitarian aid organizations in a new a global campaign to draw attention to humanitarian work. They campaign is encouraging people around the world to get involved by doing something good for others on World Humanitarian Day on August 19.
World Humanitarian Day is a global day to celebrate humanity and the spirit of people helping people. The World Humanitarian Day music video for Beyoncé’s song “I Was Here” will be filmed in the UN General Assembly Hall in New York in front of a live audience. It will be released globally on August 19.
HDI has signed on to the campaign and urges our supporters to do the same. It takes only five simple steps to support World Humanitarian Day.
