HDI's partner, Taihe Institute, one of the leading think tanks in China, published Interpretation of Southeast Asian Nations Five Connectivity Index - FIVE CONNECTIVITY INDEX REPORT(2018) in conjunction with the 2nd Annual Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Forum held in Beijing the week of April 22. Chinese President Xi Jinping hosted 5000 delegates from 150 countries. The Belt and Road Initiative is China’s signature infrastructure project to rebuild ancient trading routes across Eurasia.
